This week students across Northern Ireland eagerly awaited their "A" Level results, and it's not that long ago that a young "Real Elle Woods" was in the same situation, hoping and praying that all my hard work would pay off and I would have the opportunity to study law!! Just as "Elle Woods" found herself heading off to Harvard to embark upon the next chapter of her life, I too headed off to study and complete an LLB in Law & Government!
However while I chose to stay in NI to do it, many of my friends headed off to the likes of St Andrew's, Edinburgh & Aberdeen University to start their University life and found themselves faced with the arduous task of traveling far away from home for the first time!
To make the task a little more "student budget friendly" P&O Ferries, the UK¹s largest ferry operator, has put together a real money saving offer that will help students budgets go further ahead of the new term!
Announcing the offer, Neal Mernock, Sector Director – Irish Sea, P&O Ferries said: "Whether students are setting out to Uni for the first time or simply returning for a new term, P&O Ferries has put together a fantastic money saving deal that will make it easier.
"Simply pay one price for the car and all passengers go free, which means Mum and Dad can see their sons and daughters safely off to Uni with plenty of space for friends or family to jump in the car too.

"Like all ferry travel, there are no baggage restrictions so students can pack all their home comforts ready for their new home. And, with Troon just 45 minutes from Glasgow, the Express offers the most direct and convenient sailing for passengers wishing to travel from Northern Ireland to Central Scotland Universities such as Dundee, St. Andrew’s, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling. With such a great offer now available I’m looking forward to welcoming many many students and their friends and families on board ahead of the new term."
Plus don't forget there are some fabulous designer stores in the likes of Glasgow, etc. so why not go shopping "Real Elle Woods" style while you're at it as you won't have to worry about excess baggage!! Win win scenario on all fronts!! Hehe!
