For most of us January can be such a dull and dreary month but for little Anastasia Mullan-Ramsey and her family from Bangor they Re in for a real treat thanks to Golden Cow, one of Northern Ireland's favourite butter brands!

Golden Cow has teamed up with local retailer Spar, in Bangor to 'Spread the Love' this New Year, giving away family passes to this year's pantomime 'Aladdin' in the Grand Opera House, Belfast starring our very own May McFettridge  as 'Widow May Twankey' who celebrates twenty-five years in the Grand Opera House. Joining May on stage is Faye Tozer from pop phenomenon Steps, who plays the role of 'Scheherazade' in Aladdin.

The 'Spread the Love' is the campaign from Golden Cow taps into our nation's love of butter whether it be crumbled into your shortbread, melting over some roasted vegetables or baked to make some delicious homely treats!

As part of their prize, Anastasia and her family will also enjoy a pre-theatre meal at the Fitzwilliam Hotel in Belfast (one of my favourite hotels!) and be treated to an exclusive backstage tour after the show!

Alan Magill from Kerry Foods, representing Golden Cow is pictured awarding competition winner Anastasia with her 'Golden' ticket ahead of her visit to the Aladdin pantomime at the Grand Opera House, Belfast.
